Here’s the new trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron!
War for Cybertron is, as far as I’m concerned, one of the best shooters of 2010. It was a great game with a fluid transforming system and a fantastically fun multiplayer feature set that was marred only by lack of host migration and splitscreen options. Other than the last two seriously debilitating issues, when it worked it freaking worked! A full game of Autobots and Decepticons having a deathmatch is something you simply needed to try. It was high quality, and I can’t wait to try out this game’s multiplayer – with it’s new and improved character creation feature (no more limiting main character models, you can mix and match!).
From this trailer you can see things are getting epic on Cybertron as it nears it’s last days of the Great War. There’s some marquee gameplay moments, like controlling Grimlock and Bruticus – the Combaticon gestalt giant of a Decepticon.
I sincerely hope host migration was addressed (likely) and there’s some splitscreen/LAN options for couch multiplayer (highly unlikely), because I’m itching to rock the new multiplayer really bad.
And yeah, the sequel to the best Transformers game ever launches August 28, 2012! Months earlier than I expected. Gonna be a hot Summer, Roll Out!
